Phase 2 work is rapidly coming to a close as the construction crew is making up for lost time and wrapping up final details. Things are happening so fast, photos from two weeks ago are “outdated” (see above)!
Thanks for your patience in waiting for this overdue update. BBS welcomed 4 new students to the upper grade class (two new families moved to Camp Sherman in December) and we received a new mobile unit to accommodate the larger group. We can’t wait to move into the rest of the building and are on track to do so in February!

November 2024
⇒ Phase 2 roof dried-in, ready for winter weather
⇒ Phase 2 mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm rough-in
⇒ Phase 2 insulation and drywall
⇒ Phase 2 siding continues throughout the month: vapor barrier, thermal insulation and rain screen installed
⇒ Windows installed on upper east wall of MPR and in new addition

December 2024
⇒ Siding continues through December
⇒ Phase 2 drywall complete
⇒ Phase 1 permanent exterior doors installed (replacing the temp doors from Sept)
⇒ Phase 2 interior paint complete
⇒ Phase 2 heating units installed (heat pump mini splits)
⇒ Bathroom floors: grind & polish complete
⇒ Sidewalks and curbs poured & complete
⇒ Cabinets and casework installed in 3rd classroom
⇒ Phase 1 punch list items wrapped up during winter break

⇒ Second office in Phase 1 transitions to final design (temporary pass-through will be closed up when bathrooms are usable upon occupancy)

New permanent front door and adjacent window installed (replacing the temporary door)
